7 Days until Christmas. I don’t know where the time went. The weather forecast will be around 47 degrees on Saturday, but we definitely can not complain after the great weather last week. Since we are a rain and shine market, we will see you tomorrow from 9 – Noon.
Bundle up and we will warm your body, spirits and soul. You can start with coffee and hot beverages from Taza Coffee ‘n Crème, Limeades & More or Alchemy Coffee to name some of your choices. The music will be flowing from Rudy Ford and Meredith Kennedy to get your ears perked up. You can pick up breakfast and lunch from many choices that include doughnuts, bagels, crepes, sausage, breakfast bowls, chili and much more.
Of course, our farmers provide the best local produce and vegetables. The diversity of the selection is wonderful and gives you the opportunity to try something new and to know the provider of your food. They are more than willing to answer any questions.
If you did not attend last week, you missed something special. Bella Grove’s girl bunny Booger (on the right, ears down) and the GrowRVA Urban farm’s boy Kingsley (a.k.a Dirk Diggler) had a hot date at South of the James. Hopefully they will have some new babies in the new year!
HaaShrooms have a selection of mushrooms, vinaigrettes and more. This week lettuce is also available. Did you know they have a skin care line, Forage, to improve your skin’s overall health? This time of year we need to pay special attention. Stop by and see them.
