The GrowRVA Food Truck Court, fresh from its amazing inaugural summer at the Virginia Historical Society, is getting ready to rumble again — this time to a parking lot or event near you.
Packing up for the big move with amazing meals from the area’s best food carts and food trucks, the GrowRVA Food Truck Court uses Richmond’s freshest trend in family dining to build community in RVA.
Our first stop is First Friday, starting this month and running through December. We’ll bring great food to three great locations: St. Paul’s Jazz and More, the Visual Arts Center First Friday Sampler and the GrowRVA First Friday Market at Quirk Gallery.
Next the trucks roll into the Science Museum of Virginia, setting their parking brakes each second Tuesday for Community Meeting Night and again each third Friday, where we’ll satisfy even planet-sized appetites during the museum’s Stargazer events.
We’ll set up our food pit stop again at Visual Arts Center, 1812 W. Main Street, every Wednesday through December for the GrowRVA Food Truck Court at VisArts, and every Friday for its romance-meets-arts Fourth Friday Date Night event
The amazing food never stops, but our wheels do as the GrowRVA Food Truck Court makes a one-time stop-off on Sept. 14 at the Robinson Theater Community Art Center in the city’s historic Church Hill neighborhood for the neighborhood’s first ever TruckaPalooza event.

In addition to the GrowRVA Food Truck Court, GrowRVA also operates the South of the James Farmers Market. The state’s largest farmers market, the South of the James Farmers Market brings fresh, local and sustainable local products and produce to more than 4,000 Richmonders every Saturday.
